The British brought railways, steam engines and other things like shoes to India.
A lot of people seem to forget that.

Virus is

Flu?

Is it ignorance?

Or.

Stupidity.
Flu
Influenza, also called the flu, is a common but sometimes serious viral infection of your lungs and airways. It can cause congestion, fever, body aches, and other symptoms.

We now know some people show no symptoms or breathing difficulties but we do now know unlike Sars cov1 cov2 loads the upper resp tract which is a viral infection in your lungs and airways.. hmm.. and yes we know its attacking via ACE2.

Now.. climb down off the self righteous high chair.. its not just the dumb who initially just thought it was flu like only. And where did this seem to originate....

Would India be the democracy it is today if not for the British.

The Brits did a lot of bad things as well, like ripping off the natives but the natives weren't perfect citizens either.
What about the practice of wife burning or the Hindu caste system, with the lowest form of life being the untouchables.

And cricket.:)

They (Indian people) would not have introduced such things anyway, of course. Poor beggars have only managed a space program without us babysitting them. Imagine what they could have done without the oppression.

A lot of people forget how much money the British robbed from India.
How much money did Britain take away from India? About $45 trillion in 173 years, says top economist

The lies Brits tell themselves about how they left behind a better India
https://qz.com/india/1053297/independence-day-what-good-did-the-british-do-for-india-during-the-raj/

Historians have been bitterly divided on issues of economic history, with the Nationalist school (following Nehru) arguing that India was poorer at the end of British rule than at the beginning and that impoverishment occurred because of the British.
Mike Davis writes that much of the economic activity in British India was for the benefit of the British economy and was carried out relentlessly through repressive British imperial policies and with negative repercussions for the Indian population.
This is reified in India's large exports of wheat to Britain: despite a major famine that claimed between 6 and 10 million lives in the late 1870s, these exports remained unchecked. A colonial government committed to laissez-faire economics refused to interfere with these exports or provide any relief.

It (Covid19) still isn't. What's your point? Did you read Festive's post? He was saying that it is easy for people like you and transam to get confused. Even though CV19 has been around for months and that it has been on the news, media, internet, social media and just about any global info source since the outbreak.

Indians should stop playing Cricket. Let's face it we forced it on them and that's not cricket.
