...a view shared by virtually every other member of the right-thinking classes,If you read far right stuff you find far right stuff. That but is no surprise
And how would you know that, having 'just joined' the forum? Is that something like I'm in abundance in Mottie's local Lidl's?
It's unfortunate that we seem to have fallen out over a minor disagreement about a footballer's tweet.
But if that is the case, so be it.
It's a fair question, i'd say.Having just joined the forum, you are resorting to ad hominem comments directed at me because, and as far as I can detect, only because we have different points of view on this issue alone.
You mean he involved Godwin's law and knew immediately afterwards he'd sent the tweet he'd lost the argument. Or he had an ulterior motive?I see it as a thought-provoking reference to the dangerous possibility of stumbling along a far-right ideological path of alienating a group of people.
And of course, and it's natural, for people, especially survivors and their relatives, to want to retain the reference to: "the darkest moment in huiman history".
Any drawing of potential similarity to that darkest moment of human history has the potential to dilute that "darkest moment ...".
I do not ackonwledge that GL had any intention of doing that, rather of warning of the danger of repeating history, if we're not careful.
Yep. 38 posts on a DIY site since joining, not one of them DIY related. Makes you wonder why they sign up to such a site purely to spout political claptrap.Dazzler coming out with the same old again before he self implodes.
40 now.Maybe you think GL's tweet should have been outlawed as political claptrap. What does he know about politics. He's a fotballer.
Silence those that disagree with your views?
