When I was a cub I used to have to go to church parade once a month

Yeah, Will went last sunday. The leaders tried to encourage kids to go by saying that two official visits to church would get them a faith badge (or whatever).

which film had the line '' nice beaver''?
Naked Gun.

Unless you're watching it on US TV, in which case the line is overdubbed "nice animal".

As Brian Rehead once said; "America - not so much a country, more a giant playgroup".

Ian Weaver an I at 1st night of cubs got thrown out after the girl guides started blabbing to aukela (sp?), at FUN games behind the hut .. lol

Funny stuff. My son wouldn't go from beavers to cubs cos of the 'god' link. Good on 'im. Principles.

Hey Toffee, next time you go to London, go up to one of the guards on sentry duty and ask him if you can touch his beaver or if his beaver bites     Dare ya

hmmm... can I take it that he wouldnt be very pleased if I asked him that?

didnt know men had beavers.
Im guessing it must be his furry hat?

Yeah you're right LOL Although traditionally made from bearskin apparently they have been nicknamed 'Beavers' by some of the guards who wear them

The monotheism worries me a lot more - not only does it discriminate against atheists, but from an actual religious intolerance POV it bars Hindus, for example, from joining, and that can't be right.

What monotheistic religions are there anyway that don't worship the same god as Judaism, Christianity and Islam?

Surely it should be love 'my' god or something like that..thats if religion has to stuff its ugly head in..

Why bring god into it?...thats archaic..do these groups still force church parade on kids?...

OK..im an athiest, maybe im biased...but I dont like the ramming of ideas down peoples throats..especially kids.

I cant wait for a few days off at Easter though!!
