I can't get over how dumb Gordon Brow was.... what a ****, and he's running our country!! What chance do we have honestly!

What I don't get is people saying "I'e been labour, conservatives, etc all my life...."! why? it's not like supporting your football team, it's about who's best to run the country in your eyes, who's policies you agree with etc etc? For eg/ if your wife kept cheating on you, and you took her back, and she did it again, and you took her back, yet she did it again, you'd sayd get lost, time for a change.... same with Labour, they have had their chances and are a joke.

It's time someone else has a chance......

why don't UKIP get more coverage. They have good policies, sensible ones and give you answers to questions that everyday people want to know. They don't blah blah blah around any question. If UKIP were on the debate or got air time, people who didn't vote or were fed up with the same old parties, would say "hang on here, they've got the right idea you know, real policies and real answers!"

...... but I guess that's worry the big 2 too much!

They don't get coverage for the same reason that Green party don't get much coverage because it is not News and it is not relevant.

The question "Who is going to run our country?" is not answered in any way by talking about UKIP. Labour can rule...or tories can rule...depending on what happens to the Libs...that is why those three are in the News.

If there were people so stupid as to think that UKIPs proposals were so great, but couldn't be bothered to find out for themselves about UKIP (there is **** loads of info on the net, in leaflets etc) then you are welcome to them.

As for your "hang on, they have great policies" comment, that is subjective, and as most people don't agree, i'd say you were very much in the minority with that view.

Skitzee, time and again you tell us you're a Conservative.....like that is a good thing !

Well, I think it is, but in this instance it is not why I am saying it.

I am saying it so when I say that I completely agree with Gordon that this woman should not have been let anywhere near him that you are not thinking this is because of political loyalty...It is not, it is the fact that this woman is a ****

Don't you see it as a refreshing change for a 'normal' member of the public to give their views to a politician rather than the usual hand-picked,scripted types we often see ?
Aren't you sick of the spin ?
Aren't you sick of smug politicians spouting the party line, the only time we get to hear their real opinions is when they are caught out like Brown was yesterday ?

It is not, it is the fact that this woman is a ****
So for exercising her right to free speech and using it to good effect ,you as a conservative think she is a asso, what branch of conservatism do you support that thinks(or do you) that everyones entitled to an opinion but we sure as hell don't want it aired in public.

With the money she gets off Max Clifford she'll start voting Tory anyway.

Bullsh1t brown said, "Aye yes but a million British have left and gone into Europe"
To work about 250 to350,000, the rest to retire. But I would imagine that the work figure is going down.

For a PM the figure should have been more acurate.

Off mike
Adviser: "Did you thank the lady for the question"
Gordon: "Did I f..k"
Adviser: "I think you should have"
Gordon: "Who the f..k are you to tell me what to do?"
Adviser: "Its just that you're sounding just a tinsy winsy bit like a biggot to me right now"

On mike
Gordon: "That woman was a biggot etc,etc

No she wasnt. She was a perfectly normal, hard working woman with no hidden agenda or adverse motives, and she was perfectly entitled to ask the questions she did, since they sought her out, not vice versa, and those questions were perfectly reasonable and asked without malice or prejudice.

Furthermore, all MP's, including the PM are the servants of the public, and personally i require them to be accountable to anyone who is a tax paying citizen voter of this country. If this lying two faced idiot had been subjected to more sharp end questioning by the average voter, him and his lying two faced mate Blair woudlnt have got away with several of the massive lies they told us in the last 14 years.

Just because she isnt Melinda Messenger with Carol Vordermans IQ doesnt justify your biassed, bigoted and mean spirited attitude to her.

oooh, where to start. At the near 100k pay out she got for selling her story? what about pointing out that the
since they sought her out
comment you made was actually wrong, she was walking past, saw who it was, and went to ask stupid questions

"Where are all these Eastern Europeans flocking from"
should have been the cue for a junior aid to fly kick this woman.

They should be accountable, i agree, but they should also be able to call a bigot a bigot without the fuss that caused. Now if she was asking about a specific policy which labour alone advocated, tear him apart but don't do it by interrupting him and trying to walk off half way through his answers.

She was there to make a fuss, not get answers, otherwise like I had said, she would have bothered to read the manifesto on her computer, that she could afford on her nice cushy public servant pension they she must have after 30 years probably in some pointless admin role earning more than the private sector which is topped up by the national pension...and her husbands pension (which she has the brass to start complaining she gets taxed on) ....and now the near 100k she got for selling her *******s account of a meeting she probably didn't even understand.

I'm not saying she shouldn't have been allowed to say what she said, YOU are chastising a man for speaking about his opinion.
What kind of free speech is it that doesn't allow someone to voice their honest opinion?

So who do we blame for this ?? Do we blame this woman for being there?
Do we blame Gordon for his remarks?
Or do we blame Sue Nye, (GB's personal aide who steered this woman towards GB)?

We all have our own personal views, which by the way are being stifled every day by insidious laws (HR act, equality act etc etc)

Free Speech?? There's no free speech in this country anymore, unless your an ethnic minority complaining about troops in Afghanistan, or another ethnic minority complaining about , lack of housing, appealing against deportation (because you've killed, raped, maimed someone).
If you belong to one of the above ethnic minorities, you can say what you like without fear of reprisals from the authorities.
Want a decent council house or flat?? Go to the top of the list! (just as long as you were not born in this country, have a job etc).
Want a nice car, flat screen tv, computer. games machine, latest mobile phone?
There's the queue over there (but don't join it unless you are an immigrant)

This is the perception quite a lot of ordinary joe public has of this country at the moment. Unless politicians actually do something to change this perception, we're doomed.

People like this woman from Rochdale have a right to ask burning questions from those that would lead us.
Leading politicians have to address these issues sooner or later.
Free speech? Tell me about it.
