No, people are saying that you can't criticise someone and call them a Bigot for expressing views as it is against free speech. Which is the most oxymoronic thing i have ever heard.

Being against free speech is when you prevent someone from saying something, not when you disagree with what they have said.

OK, firstly (I can't believe I am even bothering) 1) Capital Punishment...that is government ordained murder. Which in the countries that have it, it DOESN'T decrease crime. For example there are states that didn't have it in Amerca that have seen an INCREASE in crime after it was brought into law. Government ordained murder is a step back into the dark ages.

2) Long prison sentences (which actually work) I agree with...it is a tory policy too.

3) I don't agree with the concept of British Jobs for British people. Jobs for the best people is my policy.

4)I support immigration, most of my family are in different countries around the world including Spain,Cyprus, Canada, Australia and Bosnia. (Just to preempt the question, I am a white god knows how many generation Brit). It has to work both ways (we are not full.)

I agree with jobs for the best people but a) cheap foreign labour should not take british companies jobs as has happened time and time again recently and b) for eg/ British Gas allow "ethnic minorites" to jump their recruitment que for one example, how fair is that?

b) UK for the size is too crowded and will noly get worse. More come here than go out FACT. Hence the population growth rapidly. Civil unrest will begin within 10 years or so sadly as no jobs for youngsters due to inflood of cheap foreign labour and immigration.

Are you telling me torries if they get in WILL make 5 years mean 5 years ?? I very much doubt it.

Why is it a step back, capital punishment would be sensible, you hurt someone, you get hurt back.

The only people saying someone shouldn't have said something is the people attack Mr Brown.

I am fine with Ole Duff saying whatever she wants...but I, you and Gordon are all allowed to say what they think too. That is NOT being against freedom of speech. That is being FOR freedom of speech.

What I can only assume happened was she hobbled over to an aid who she informed she was a labour voter and they let her through.

Not a clever move.

Gordon Brown is a professional, he is the PM, he should know better than to slag off his voters/people with a mic still turned on!! he mucked up, end of. In the polls he will lose out, just like for eg/ a member of staff would for being caught slagging off the boss, he'll be done for it!!!!!!

Secondly, we are no-where near the most overcrowded country in europe.
Thirdly, the Tory's are(and have always been) the party of Lower taxes, less Public Service, Less nanny state, More tough on crime, more encouraging of enterprise and more for the people who want to work.

That doesn't mean she isn't allowed to SAY what she wants, but that the people organising Gordon's day shouldn't have let her say it to HIM.

Again, freedom of speech is when you are trying to silence someone. I do not advocate that, I am saying that Gordon was right that she was 'a distaster' and shouldn't have been let near him.....more freedom of movement than freedom of speech

And no-one else has ever been caught out like that....except, all the others that have. He made a mistake. Big deal, we all make mistakes.
