You're using the worng application. You want the 'ignore' function.
If you use the 'spam blocker' and my posts are allowed, that's sufficient proof that my posts are not spam.

Yep, my ignore list is quite long; and it's all just for one person.

The rest is superfluous.

Does this site use Captcha when you sign up? Given the amount of airline spam, I suspect that it is a bot rather than a human.

It's difficult to stop on a open forum. You can't put new members in holding until approved and captcha don't stop the real people that want to make trouble.

Good points. I am not without sympathy with the current mods. I guess that the fact that the spammers are spamming with phone numbers rather than hyperlinks makes if more difficult for the mods to detect them.

Another problem for mods is the need for a pc rather than a phone to sort it out. Real easy on a pc but mobile internet view is not so easy to navigate with limited options. It maybe just a case of mod needing to get home and login or find 5 mins to sort it out. Can spoil your day not being able to get online knowing the forum is being spammed

You could make their first five or ten posts be approved by a moderator before being published on the forum. That would have stopped all those airline spams.
