Boat illegals up under Labour.

The problem won’t stop until European nations work together but nobody will work together because grifters like Farage use immigration to stir up hate and division as a political tool.

It's the Tories and Labour who stir up hate and division by promising to massively reduce immigration, but preside over massive increases instead. If they kept to their promises, Farage wouldn't have any ammunition.

yes they lie because people don’t want immigration but they also, want a growing economy.

If British people were happy to wipe the bums of the elderly, pick cabbages in the middle of winter and work in meat processing factories maybe we wouldn’t need those pesky foreigners coming here doing the sh1t jobs.

I think politicians tell people they want a growing economy. Really it's the large multinationals that sweat this - they are the ones really driving mass immigration.

Other countries do ok without mass immigration. Poland's economy is ok, and no mass immigration there.

But we arent

EU had 1.2m asylum seekers in 2023 U.K. had about 40,000
Strue, I know, butthe rules as they are have no limits.

Under Shengen afaik, if the entire Polish population decided to o live in Portugal, there's nothing to stop them.
That's a dumb system, it needs parameters....

EU- "We have a labour and skills shortage". :ROFLMAO:

I've always found it strange that the EU has a labour shortage considering the number of workers we have allegedly sent back to their respective EU countries. Surely the would have a surplus. Do you think it fair that we should add to that shortage by recruiting labour from our 'European friends' or should we recruit from elsewhere in the world? If so, where?

the EU says thanks you to Mottie and the others for sending back so many workers, we are most grateful.

The U.K. now has a greater shortage than the EU, thanks to people like Mottie

You have to stop them wanting to come. The economic ones that is.

Plenty of legal visa for the above.

Yes it's a world wide issue. I wonder what causes a lot of the issues
Plenty of legal visa for the above.
And if there was a proper effective system for applying for visa and for asylum.

Strange how so many people didn't want Europeans working over here but are ok with others.

There wasn’t a problem when we had free movement

There is now

I guess the “plenty of visas” doesn’t work.

Another mahoosive Brexit fail, to add to all the others

don't worry Notch. Rachel Reeves is shrinking vacancies quick enough with her jobs tax. Soon there wont be any to worry about.
