Border on the Island of Ireland

Let me check this.

Do Brexers want free movement of people, from the EU, into the UK?

Easy question.

Let's see if Bodge can answer it
I'll answer it it's not relevant as most movement into UK which should of been reduced doesn't fall under EU regs.

Fillyboy has thrown in a heap of verbiage but doesn't want to answer the question either.

it doesn't need lots of words. One will do.

Maybe you need to re-read my reply John, the bit that says I would not expect non Irish citizens to enjoy the same rights as Irish citizens.

Is that a complicated way of saying that you don't want free movement of people, from the EU, into the UK?

In case you have difficulty understanding the question, free movement means they can come in if they want, no visa or permission needed.

John, I really do believe that every reply appears complicated to you, that's why I try and keep things simple, just for you. Unfortunately, much of the time it doesn't seem to work.

1. I do not want freedom of movement with the EU, I'm happy for visa free travel for holidays, possibly even study at a stretch, but would like to see a 'work permit' situation for eu nationals coming here to work.
It aint hard is it, fill out a form, Roberts your fathers brother.

2. I would expect a soft border with Ireland and a continuation of free movement (and many other rights) with Ireland, as has existed since 1921 and by recent mutual agreement with Ireland, will continue to exist after brexit.

Now, before you start spouting off again about customs unions, there aint no EU customs regulations or 'freedoms' that will change number 2, before that happens, Varadkar will fall even further from Grace, somebody will succeed him, and before you can say "John Claude Junckers drunk again" Ireland will be following us out. Funny, I always thought Italy would be next but the odds are increasing in Irelands favour.
I'm 2nd generation Irish btw, those freedoms allowed my parents to come to this country, their predecessors were involved in the Easter Uprising and some of their forbears were among those who came back from the pub one Sunday afternoon and forgot where they planted the potatoes.

Final word, never underestimate the Paddys, Varadkar has overstepped the mark on EU orders, if he doesn't change tack soon, there might just be another uprising.

Festive can't answer.

I've answered 3 times now but you appear to not understand the answers, I'm really not sure what more we can do to help you John. Reach out mate, we'll do what we can for you.

Very well. Your answer is "No." You didn't say that before. It looks like we will never know what festive wants. Bodge doesn't know what he wants so he can't tell us.

In that case you must have border controls and check that people entering the UK from the EU are suitably qualified to allow them to enter. You cannot have open borders if you wish to control entry.

The Republic of Ireland is a part of the EU.

Therefore you want border controls between RoI and the UK.

NI is part of the UK.

Therefore you want border controls between RoI and NI.

That was easy.

So prove us remainers wrong...

All you have to do is to come up with some direct benefits that leaving the EU will benefit the UK and it's subjects...

Not too hard to do?

Or is it?
Still waiting...

Is it really that hard for quitters to think of even a single direct benefit of leaving the EU?

Don't want Isis being able to move freely around Europe unchecked.
So the UK leaving the EU will stop 'Isis being able to move freely around Europe unchecked'?

And how do you propose we patrol our borders with the EU, let alone our own shores?

If you haven't noticed, the UK has the 13th largest coastline in the world and the 4th largest in Europe...

How many border patrol goons do you think we need to recruit, or how many navy tin cans do we need to build?

And regarding 'Isis' - could you tell us how many UK subjects have been killed by Islamic terrorism in the UK, and how many were killed by Irish terrorism?
