Borrow and Spend Budget

You've posted that link before, and I may have mentioned before that if you read through the comments at the end of the 'blog', the authors figures are meticulously picked apart by a number of people, the author gets rather annoyed with them.

Dubious to say the least.

It's a fact....

Lol, picked apart. He does no such thing but if you have figures to disprove it then do provide them.

14 recessions on last 50 years

I'm disappointed that there's nothing on climate change, again. I expected it to be less than I wanted, but to not even bother is surprising.

I suppose the reduction in the use of red diesel might count, but that's really just a clever stealth tax.

I thought it was a good budget. I will be able to start paying in to my pension again as it looks like the 10k limit kicks in much higher.

Kicks in at 200k If I recall correctly so now Consultants can start working again.

Unintended consequences of Corona.

I think in real terms it’s 240k allowing for employers contributions. But there is still the lifetime cap.

if that was true, how come the top earners have increased their earnings and wealth so much over the last 10 years, yet those at the bottom of the tree have really suffered.

Yet Notch supposedly voted Tory while this was happening

Notch supposedly voted for a tory government who granted the referendum and then voted out.

What's that got to do with anything? Are you inferring a past Tory voter can't be critical of failing Tory government?

Did Notch have his head in the sand all that time.

That's why Nosy

That's why what?

Are you saying he is not allowed to criticise the Tory party and their sham election promises?

I expect your criticism you seem to be a labour voter like myself in the past. But Notch voted for all of this. He doesn't know his arse from his elbow... When he finally identifies it he'll change his mind again.
