You seem like the average idiot who doesn't care about, or appreciate such things; you probably live in a Barratt home, eat mcvities for tea and watch the xfactor? No doubt you're a Labour voter too?

What that brainless f**k-wit ArS eurly doesn't realise is that you can actually put insulation on the INSIDE doh!

Poor OP has not dared post again after being more or less accused of living on Benefit Street :( :( :(

If you are still out there a photo of the drive might get some more help.
I had a minor kerfuffle with a neighbour once on a property (usual old fences all over the place) but I could see the neighbour was one of those who make a hobby of being awkward. Reckon I would have won if it went to court but frankly for 10" on one corner of the garden the aggro was not worth it!

I have a long memory though ;)

"What that brainless f**k-wit"...do you want to carry on this conversation somewhere else, you deranged degenerate? You're obviously not a full shilling...I think you're in need of a lobotomy

Actually, you can, in the form of loft insulation, draft-poof windows and doors, insulated plaster-board, insulating plaster and thermal/insulated wallpaper.

Why can't these people just get on with their lives rather than worrying about four poxxy inches? I agree that the neighbour should have asked if they could use their driveway to carry out the work but it sounds to me that they are as bad as eachother.

If you read my post, I was having a dig at Aron Squirrely and agreeing that you CAN put insulation on the inside, thus giving his luddite jibe a smack in the gob. Your reaction was rather funny though.

Most people know him as A-R-o-n-S-e-a-r-l-E.

Also if the driveway is already quite narrow I can see losing a few inches of it being quite a significant reduction.

Insulation on the inside is a far better option imo.
I have no problem tolerating my neighbour adding 4" inches to his property.
But then he's half a mile away.
