What have you got against soup? It's tasty, and healthy.

Regarding the topic, I do have sympathy for these people even if they are a pain in the nation's backside.
They give loads of money to criminals, based on false promises. And they hardly waltz in, (if you saw the programme)
At least some of them said they were looking for education opportunities or employment, maybe we could exchange them for some of our less useful natives?

Its getting that way Norcon, We have a lot of family in Greece and they are saying its not good out there at all.

ffs tell them that we've already got enough greek takeaways here, before they start getting ideas.

a lot off the problem is simply embracement
they have spent thousands off pounds and are having a terrible time they get here get no help and live in abject poverty but are too embraced to say they have wasted the family pension in getting nothing or no where

until they report how bad the journey is how poor the wages are there will always be people thinking thinking its money well spent

the bbc program should be shown in tunisia and other areas where they think its an easy life here

AFAIK, when discovered, they get rent free accomodation, food vouchers, and vouchers to exchange for food/clothing. And have to report to an immigration centre, that they most probably can't afford to attend, and when they don't turn up, a warrant is issued, until a review of their case is completed, so they disappear, and only generally turn up via a raid at a food factory, or agricultural work, as these places exploit people. (UK people included), I know people that work in these places, being bossed by obviously illegal immigrants.

When I worked for charity shop, had people coming in with a printed card, stating 'I'm an illegal immigrant, can you give me some free clothes, free please?', as they didn't know a word of English. £2 for a £40 pair of brand new shoes is a good deal, but the amount that charity steals.....

They own a lot of property here that they reant out , they dont claim benefits, I am not even sure there is a benefits system in Greece is there?

Maybe if we didn't have Orwellian thought-police laws, preventing us from being racist, the immigrants wouldn't be flocking here from every hopeless country in the world, inc. Ireland.

Maybe if our police/security issued a few dry slaps to those who come here, like the Greek guard was doing, it would make them see that we're not a soft touch.

Also, what can the Ghanaian woman living in a North African squat with her two kids ever offer the UK that it needs? She couldn't even speak English.

Makes a change from all the English flocking to Ireland for work bleeding the country dry, not to mention all the English buying up cheap cottages as second holiday homes, bet they feel sick now that their expencive houses are worthless.
