When does Royalty make the rules?
They made the rules which are still in place.

I thought it was the EU that made most of the rules :)
Perhaps one day they will make a rule saying that such land may be confiscated.
Oh, no, Britain is leaving so no chance.

Keep paying the rent to these people for land (including the sea bed for eleven miles out) on which your power is generated.

He is a whinger (ellal) perhaps he needs to be given a job ??

You write this:
Another post attacking another poster without contributing anything else.
You are developing a pattern.
Then immediately write this:

You are a sanctimonious hypocrite.

Isn't it funny how those who don't like criticism of the way this country is heading hit out at those who ask questions they can't/won't answer.
( a form of dictatorship - ironically the 'reason' they apparently want to get out of the EU!)

Personally I think that the one's who don't 'love' the UK are the ones who voted to leave, because they are happy to see our economic fortunes/influence decline and the xenophobic/isolationalistic/racist tendencies to rise.

And for what exactly?

History will show us that the only people to gain will be those who stand to make a fortune off the backs of the gullible they manipulated so easily.

And maybe in the future, generations to come will think of those who chose to limit their life choices as kind of 'traitors' to the UK?

So who really 'loves'/doesn't 'love' the UK?

Those who spout 'will of the people' and 'getting our country back' without a real clue as to what they actually mean, or those who wish to prevent cliff jumping to become a national sport? :)

I love the UK. Sure, there are things I don't like about it but that would be the same in any country. I love the British humour, the way we support the underdog, that we don't like show-offs or bullies. I think it's a beautiful country in parts, green and lush. I also love the fact that the UK is a varied and tolerant place to live on a whole and has been for some years. Yes, there's a lot of good things in this country of which I am proud.

I've not seen you write anything good about this country Ellal, you just like to complain about brexit and you seem to hate and ridicule those who voted out. I voted remain but although I think it's a tragedy that we are leaving, I am certainly not going to ridicule my fellow man or call them xenophobic. The vote to leave won and I have to respect that because that's the country in which I live and love.

I also don't think you want to listen to the fact that a vast majority of people voted out because they were tired of the EU dictatorship, not because they were anti-foreigner. Do you really think that most of the 17 million people who voted out did so because they were racists?!

Then there is the fact that the whole thing was a farce from start to finish with false information, promises and propaganda from both sides of the camp. You don't want to hear that though because it doesn't suit your agenda or your narrow mindedness.

It is good that someone claims to know why the "vast majority" voted to leave.
However, I suspect your assumption is wrong.

What I don't get, with Brexit spelling doom for the UK and all our Financial Services and jobs going to Paris etc.. why is it that Unemployment in France is 9.2% and increasing, while it is declining in the UK and has been since Brexit almost without a blip.
