Oh I wish I could pick two economics factors and link them together to make some sort of judgement only to be told there is causation and correlation and they are not the same.

Look into passporting rights and post Brexit financial regulation. The only thing that is certain is the uncertainty.

people with houses don't want other people building houses next to their houses. People who lend money to people to buy houses don't want over supply so that house prices drop and people need to borrow less money. Its a crazy loop.

You've nailed it. People with houses are exactly the problem. Prospective investing for profit drives demand. It's no careful programme though, it's just supply and demand. What IS a careful programme, is land-banking, also for profit. And then building shoddy houses on arable land to satisfy the appetite for aforementioned prospective buying.

Like it or not, unfortunately the major issue for brexiteers was immigration. And if that doesn't have a xenophobic angle, then tell me what has!

The leavers like to ridicule 'remoaners', and seem to think that a single referendum means that those opposed have to shut up and get on with it.

Some 'democracy' that is - we might as well have another general election and then no more. No opposition allowed!

The fact that I see Brexit as bad news doesn't equate to not liking anything about this country.
What I fear is where we are heading and the country we are becoming!

Wrong again. It's been a 'careful program' since thatcher.

Manipulation of MIRAS.
Right to Buy.
Shared Ownership.
De-regulation of Mortgages.
Buy to let discounts (previous tax breaks)
Preventing social house building by councils.
Privatisation of remaining 'social housing' (housing associations).

Etc, etc...

If you don't see that as a 'plan', then you don't understand the machinations of our 'ruling elite' :)

Now blackstone are moving into social housing but without the restrictions on raising finance.

The big difference is that all you ever do is whinge about certain other posters, John, ellal, me, and occasionally kankerot.
You try to never make a controversial comment, which means you just try to appease all, sitting on the fence, never offering a real opinion.
Yet your pattern of behaviour is to tacitly accept the bigoted comments of a**e end, rogercon, etc, and the mind-numbing repetitive utube videos from gasbag, and his dopey comments about Brexit. You never complain about those. Therefore you must be in agreement with them.
You only ever whinge about objections or counter-arguments to those bigoted or monotonous posts.

So while you are trying to avoid controversial comments, your colours are nailed firmly to the mast by your whinging.

Or are you still implying that I am Arab, as though it is some sort of insult, (but continue to deny it)?
