Can anyone advise me on the Britany FF, fitted new diaphragm turned water back all ok until the hot tap was turned on and water came out of small hole above the water section gas section area. The customer said it had just stopped working when I removed the case it was holding water up to temperature adjustment knob.

only thing i can suggest youve assembled it wrong

whip it out again

Diaphragm will only go in one way, will revisit tomorrow and remove water govenor then put diaprhagm back in.

You need the complete service kit for the boiler not just the diaphram it comes with loads of Orings etc good luck

If you get the Water Section Service Kit you get the diaphragm, plastic dome, pressure plate and pin, and just one little O ring, which goes up inside, round the pin.
You need a long skinny woodscrew to get it out, and Sili grease after.
There are two service kits, one FF and one BF, only the pin length is different.
You DON'T get the skinny half inch fibre washer you nearly always need when changing the diaphragm!
