Broken clutch release arm

PAS pump leaked on mine, oil pipes common problem, as are leaks in the fuel line, (often priming bulb perishes), plating can be needed if rustproofing was a bit sloppy in the factory. Reminds me, mine needs looking at before it gets too bad. Oh and the older one needs a timing belt, but I'm going to spend a few £ on it this year, and it'll hopefully be good for 200000 miles.

PAS has been a problem for a couple of years.

Took it off a few months back, cleaned and silicon sealed around the joint but still had a slow leak, fluid dripping down the engine front on to low pipes.

No PAS pumps in the local breakers and not seen any on ebay of late.

I'll mull it over and see if its going to the breakers or not.

Still looking for a new clutch arm.

Of course a new clutch is a mountain of a job!

I've decided to call it a day with the 45.

Had to use my new Bora in the early hours this morning. With the snow tyres the previous owner had put on the front, it drove very well in the snow, it fact the ride in general seems better than the 45.

For anyone interested, this ebay seller has Rover parts. May be the source that Hugh kindly mentioned above.
