Well since just on this site we have Gas men discussing the interpretation of the gas regs, the sparkies discussing the interpretation of the 17th and builders discussing what to have on their sandwiches, the text of two works of fiction that have been translated countless times over centuries by guys who have both an axe to gring and a vested intrest, it is hardly surprising that the text of both the Bible and the Koran can now be interpreted in any way that any lunatic wishes... I'm sure that in their original form they were very handy guids for life but now they serve no real purpose.

I am against book burnings as it screams on censorship. However I am kind of disappointed that the taboo has not been broken.
We should all stop worrying about offending people with honestly held views.
If i want to burn a Koran (or have a slightly inappropriate signature) and people get offended, who gives a rats ass. People need to get over themselves and stop trying to police the thoughts of others.

for me its simple,
bin religion.
if it were to be binned then it would stop a lot of pointless wars, killing, hate and arguments. simple as that.
