Even if you are earning what you say, nobody here cares and it's certainly not the sort of thing you brag about.

Secure, this guy has not earned any friends to lose them, in my experience the guys who earn a few quid do not brag about it, on this forum people come on here to ask and learn..either they love doing diy or like a lot of folk just struggling to get by and try to save some money doing jobs themselves, I was once that guy when we got married,kids,mortgage and the other lifes struggles but I know there are people like that on here now and this guy does a lot of bragging on how he has made millions ect,ect... I have my own opinions on his tales but others will resent it

You don’t help 'your cause' by advocating cruelty and ideas on sadism. Is that twisting and turning what you have said?

Look – I don’t like pigeons! I love the birds in my garden and get a very wide range which I feed every day. But the pigeons swoop down, scoff the lot, and fly off after taking a dump, quite often in the bird bath for some reason but basically everywhere!! So the little birds are looking at me like “there’s nothing left for us!”

But as much as the pigeons get on my nerves, which is A LOT, I would never contemplate harming or killing them. They do a good job of dumping on my car at work too, if I park in a certain place, and sometimes while perched on my wing mirror. But they have a right to life and have to dump somewhere, just as I do.

I can’t stand cruelty to animals and it tells me a lot about any person who is. I would never befriend anyone with such vile tendencies.

Incidentally my cat doesn’t go after them but just watches them, like I watch the telly.

No-- I dont look after sick animals-- . I support the people and orginisations who do !!.

My last pet -- (my dog) died in 1992 --and it cut me up that much- that I've never had another one since .
It hurt like hell .
Maybe it's selfish of me not to give a dog a home --but- I really do not have the time to devote to a dog and it would be unfair to leave it locked up in house all day.
Besides that- from a selfish point of view maybe- I dont want to experience the pain of losing a best pal (my dog) again.

I love birds too and feed them every day . In fact I spoil them. We get blue tits, long tail tits, nuthatches, coal tits, marsh tits, Robins, greenfinches, wagtails,goldcrests,song thrushes and even a resident greater spotted woodpecker-and many many more .
Oc course- we get pigeons, doves etc too who crap on my van , car and mrs car. But- bird crap dont stink like cats mess does.
Lots of people near me have no grass in their front gardens - all substitued with concrete, sets and stones etc .
So- our garden is a target for cats .
They sit there under my trees and shrubs- waiting to catch a bird .
We have tried almost everything to get rid of them-- pepper, garlic, water pistols , sonic things etc - but nothing works .
I have never harmed a animal in my life and have no intention of doing so--but- I can understand why some people do harm cats .
To sum it up-- I dont mind cats-- BUT NOT IN MY BACK YARD '.

Read it again, I never mentioned money in the 1st place, why mention how much money rather than a lump sum? It's called bragging, I'm not jealous at all as Peter is making out. People who've got money don't do any bragging at all

So now you’re blaming a cat for having odorous poo, as opposed to all other animals which don’t presumably? It’s not done with any forethought or malice towards YOU and yet you take it personally. Apart from feral ones, cats are totally indifferent to you until, or unless, you give it a reason one way or another.

It’s instinct and the only animal I know of which will deliberately antagonise others, just because they can or on a whim, is the human one or ones taught to do so by human influence. So you love or prefer dogs; they can do no wrong in your view?

Well pollution comes in many forms and the one which dogs do in abundance is barking! It might be music to a dog lover’s ears but it certainly isn’t to mine! My neighbours have them and their dogs can bark and bark until the ‘uckin cows come home!

At least I have to go outside to be affected by your bugbear, I have to turn my TV up when the wolf next door goes ape! The only thing which comes as close to it is the stupid neighbour’s ‘barking’ at the dog to shut up. (They both think the dog understands English when shouted at; dumb & dumber

).

The owners are pathetic for not having proper control and training but again, it’s not the dogs fault but that of the owners. The same is true of dogs which hate cyclists, bikers or treat children as a snack. Talking of which, in that respect dogs are rather like children, in that if you show me a $h1tty kid chances are I’ll show you a $h1tty parent.

Unbelievable stuff.

This subject has been debated on here a few times now, and it never ceases to amaze me how defensive and self righteous cat owners can be.

It's really simple stuff. If a neighbours dog hurdled it's backside over your fence and crapped on your lawn, on a daily basis, you'd be quite rightly upset about it.

Why can't cat owners hold their hands up and admit that they can understand peoples frustrations. But they won't. They never do.
