Compare that account with the 'treatment' that sex offenders would get prior to the introduction of SOTP. It would start in the jail's reception area. A screw would shout: "nonce coming through", whereupon all the cons who were available would proceed to kick the guy, as a 'coming in' present.

That's great guys - clearly there's some profound and very joined up thinking going on. And yet not one of you self-appointed nonce-kickers appears capable of suggesting that we need to know:

1. Where the f*** the parents were at the time;
2. Why these people did it;
3. How they had the opportunity;
4. How they grew up believing that this is acceptable behaviour;
5. Where their own parents/teachers/friends/employers are now, so that they can receive an equal punishment.

Then, and only then, might it become acceptable to hand the criminally insane perpetrators to a lynch mob.
