Cavity wall insulation

Any future rewire shouldn't involve cables in cavities.

Shouldn't?

Why not?

Adequate supporting of cables, bridging the walls and creating damp patches.

Won't be an issue.
How do you know ?

Firstly, it's not enough surface contact to allow the temperature differences to track.

Secondly, regarding support, the length isn't going to be long enough for the weight of point A and point B to hurt.

Thirdly, I'm an expert and the things I say will NOT be wrong ;)

Fouthly, you are atotal pr@t who just sounds off without any thought or understanding of the subject.

Here's your starter regarding why cables should not be put in cavities.

ooOOOOOOoooooo. One's a little grouchy this evening?

Why don't you have a warm glass of milk and go to bed, there's a good boy :D

From what the NIC say, then no one should install cables in lofts either.

The NIC are a bunch of clowns. NAPIT all the way, boyo.

If there is a cable for an electric shower, it is most likely running near its rating, and will overheat if surrounded by insulation. An immersion heater cable will need to be calculated. A lighting cable runs far inside its rating so can generally be safely insulated.
