My wife has purchased a lightweight ceiling rose (polystyrene) , she's the designer and I'm the magician that's going to make it all happen ( sigh!) It's move or less flat , I've done one before with no issues. I removed the light fitting and there's a lot of wires up there as well as a hook built into the fitting to support the quite heavy fitting which is staying , the only thing I can thing of is to totally remove all the wiring , re wire with block and fit a hook into the above beam to support the fitting and then fit the ceiling rose , I can't think of another way to do it as the rose is flat , any ideas ? , Thanks . I have included a picture of the previous one I put up , however there was significantly less wiring on that one
