Chemi resin fixings

did you see @freddiemercurystwin much more experienced then I , just a DIYer who has used STUDS and Resin fixing only a few times , mainly for gate posts , and fence posts

I have also spoken to rawlplug support (a couple of years ago now) and they where very helpful on the type of resin , when i was looking into some Tiles etc
I believe rawlplug make the Easyfix brand as well

In a couple of locations the studding will need to be about 250mm deep.
is that based on some structural calculations ? or building regs

Structural calculations are being done but it's based on the fact that the facing bricks have three vertical holes in them and so I need to get back to the backing concrete block.

I missed freediemecurystwin post. He did link to a supplier which do a 200mm long anchor in 316 so that might do me.

ok, glad you found , I thought you needed 250mm deep , then plus the amount outside the facebricks to fix to >250mm
anyway - if it works Ok for you

AFAIK if using ordinary studs (which you would push in) they should only be used with the tubes of premixed resin not the capsules.

If using the capsules you need to use the studs with the bolt head on the end, you then need to screw those into the capsules in the hole (with the supplied setting tool) and its the screwing that properly mixes the mix inside the capsules.
