CIA says lab leak most likely source of Covid outbreak (Ed)

Last time we had a conversation about scepticism surrounding Covid, the thread was deleted.

Remember all those twitter and facebook post that were removed and called conspiracy theory for even contemplating a lab leak. Only a child would believe that it was from a wet market and not the Wuhan Institute of Virology down the road- you know the one actively researching coronavirus in bats. You know the lab that WHO said was not the source - you know the very same WHO that gets a high proportion of its funding from China - you know that country renowned for its openness and honesty. Wonder if this has anything to do with Biden pre-emptively pardoned Fauci. What’s the difference between a conspiracy and the truth - well about 5 years it would seem.

We must all believe in mainstream media and obey politicians' orders.
After all they always act in our best interest.

Yep. I spoke about it on a thread in the last couple of weeks... that thread got nuked. Took long enough for the truth to finally be printed by the MSM didn't it. Thank f**k for Trump, Elon, RFK and Jay Bhattacharya. And all the others and there are many. Heroes.

Without arguing whether or not a lab leak is to blame, the statement doesn't make logical sense...
CIA assesses with low confidence that a research-related origin of the COVID-19 pandemic is more likely than a natural origin based on the available body of reporting. CIA continues to assess that both research-related and natural origin scenarios of the COVID-19 pandemic remain plausible
If the hypothesis is that COVID-19 is more likely to be from research-related origin, rather than a natural one - and they have low confidence in that hypothesis; then naturally, there would be higher confidence in the null-hypothesis, wouldn't there?

The statement could be written far less ambiguously.

Nothing has changed. The idiots are controlling the information trickle. Expect more one sided garbage from Ratcliffe.

you know the very same WHO that gets a high proportion of its funding from China

12% of their funding comes from China against 24% from America, that's why Donald is none too happy with the WHO colluding with China over Covid.

What truth?

A MAGA has become head of CIA and has decided to change their conclusion.

Nothings changed
Theres no new evidence

Maybe you could then explain why the US was funding the Wuhan lab up until 2023?

“Today (June 2023), the GAO confirmed that U.S. taxpayer dollars awarded from the National Institutes of Health and USAID were ultimately used for research by entities in China, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which was known to be doing coronavirus research.

"A memo was sent to the House of Representatives oversight select subcommittee which has been investigating US grants to WIV. The memo details a lengthy record of failed communications between US agencies and the Wuhan institute"

If there was a 'lengthy record of failed communications between US agencies and the Wuhan institute', why was this funding not ended sooner?

From what I read in the OP link, this review happened under Biden. All the new guy has done is declassify it and make it public. Is that correct?
