What does the figure matter now? Who said 1 death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic? The holocaust happened, there was no excuse or justification for it. End of story.

Joe, I never said the figure of 3 million was official, I said it was more of a true figure, rather than the estimate of 6 million made during the war.

We all know that the number of European Jews dropped by about 4-5 million between 1939 and 1948 (ish)

We know that the number of Polish Catholics dropped by about 3 million, Roma Gypsies, Homosexuals, Handicapped people, Serbian Jews etc etc

You said earlier Joe that no one has ever been found guilty of the murder of so many people.

Franz Stangl was the commander in charge of Sobibor and Treblinka death camps.....he was arrested in the late 60's after he fled to Brazil..he was put on trial in Germany and found gulity of the murder of almost 1 million people.

I'm glad that you have finally noted that less than half the population of the concentration camps were Jews. So what happened to the 'forgotten half'?

The point is that the figure has already been halved. Six million never died. Why is this lie being perpetuated? It is NOT TRUE - and no-one doubts that. This is NOT my opinion.

Joe i agree with what sooey says, that is my answer, i wasn't there, a lot of the evidence was incinerated, and i think a lot of misinformation has been put out there by nazi hangers on.
