Yes. Get the right toilet.

You can get a small number of WC pans that connect to a floor socket without needing an elbow adaptor. If the floor is concrete it is impractical to move the soil pipe.

Can you measure the distance from the wall to the centre of the socket, and also from the wall to the front of the pan, since you say space is limited.

Nowadays pretty much nothing is put under a pan however pans used to have cement put under them and I`m wondering if the guy has done this to surport the cut out area.

Assuming that is a solid floor and that the crack isn't a crack, I would make a strong mix of sand and cement and push it all the way under the space in the base and around the rear, plus the pipe, then leave it undisturbed for a week to set - if there are not other options. If the 'crack' is a crack then all bets are off.

Not sure about a loo frame, seems a bit drastic, but I understand when it comes to safety it might need drastic action. The only saving grace is the toilet appears to be more front heavy as far as weight sitting goes. So I would tend to sit more middle to front then back. See below for side view for what I mean.

I'm only 12 stone and I wouldn't fancy sitting on that toilet, especially with the section stuck back on down the side!.

For the cost of a toilet it's a no brainer to replace it something that fits properly.

Can't believe he carried on after knocking a chunk out of the side..
