Seen quite a bit on condensation forming on cold water pipes going through a warm space. I am asking for advice as to whether the following situation would also be prone to condensation.
The waste outlets from a bathroom upstairs run under a heated floor before going through a small area of eaves which has no insulation and therefore a cold space. In this space the pipe turns and runs down a wall to the outlet at ground floor level.
There is evidence of water dripping apparently from the 90 bend in this cold space but not evidence of a problem with the solvent weld joint.
I am suspecting condensation but wonder if anyone has come across this situation before.
