Consumer Unit Replacement

You would have thought in this day and age that people like ScrewFix would be able to use their database of sales to notify people of recalled products.
To be fair, they might well not even be aware of the recall - it was only issued by Fluke on 9th February (I only stumbled across it because I went looking for the Instructions for your tester). If Fluke did not inform everyone who stocks/sells their products (and that could be a lot), individual sellers are unlikley to have become aware of it.

Kind Regards, John

True, Thanks for that anyway John
Although what they are offering as a replacement might be worth more it doesn't do the same job which is a bit disappointing as I just wanted something that plugs into a socket.
Still it is worth knowing and getting it replaced.
It seems they put a voltage on the earth which could give you a shock if it detects a missing earth.

I am stuck trying to find this conduit or any adaptors for it as I can't find any reference to it.
Anyone seen this before ?

Typical I just found a supplier after posting and I been looking for ages before hand.

The problem I got is that 5/8" is a funny size as there don't seem to be any adaptors for it to convert to larger tube sizes.
So I can either buy this conduit in the link above and thread it and replace the existing cut off conduit so that the new conduit comes into the CU but then I would need to use the membrane cable entry kit I bought which would then mean it would be insulated from the CU so I would still need to have earthing clamps on the conduit.
It just so happens that the external diameter of 5/8" conduit is the same as the internal diameter of 1/2" conduit and pretty near 20mm conduit as well.
So maybe another option is to see if either 1/2" or 20mm conduit can be knocked on the end of the 5/8" conduit and be a good tight fit but I don't get a good enough feeling about this way as I would prefer a threaded connection.

Anyone converted 5/8" conduit to a more standard size before or know of any adaptors I can use ?

And screw it into the existing conduit which has a threaded socket end (sorry I don't know the proper terminology)

The 1/2" conduit sizes got me as the outside diameters are larger than 1/2"

Size EMT Rigid
1/2" 0.706" 0.84"

I worked out the thread is BSF 5/8"

Yes and I have tried looking for 16mm bits and pieces to no avail, everything is 20mm or 25mm.
