Cooker socket question?

Its no problem as notification will be required to change a CCU to a twin socket outlet in a kitchen anyway.
Rather that putting a double socket on the wall would it be ok with a 13amp switch socket instead?
Had someone over today saying it would be a bit safer incase anyone decided to plug anything else in the socket like the washing machine.
To be honest think i will go with this option as i can isolate the oven easier.
He never mentioned the fuse on the CU so i guess thats ok as it is.
