cordless grinders

hi all just wondered if anyone has ever used one and if it is up to the job of grinding out for lead flashings am pretty sure that it will munch batteries but wanted to know if they could cope with small amounts of grinding before i get one. am looking at the dewalt 18v. cheers

bought it a few weeks ago for around £60 naked
bought mine for this very purpose as the the roof tiles have cement and now leaking havent used it on brick yet though

now its more a cut off tool but i am very impressed as it cut through a
1 1/4 x1/2"steel bar no probs and yes it does eat batterys but mine are 2ah

just in case any one is interested, have now bought a dewalt 18v grinder and it is a great piece of kit and is certainly up to most light to moderate grinding tasks.
