Hi,
We have an extension built 2 years ago, one side is block and sand/cement render. This side now has a deep crack from the top parapet wall down that is very concerning.

On inspection of the largest section of the crack and removing by hand that bit. It is wet but the crack does not continue behind the bit I have taken off. But that exposed bit, the scratch coat is still wet and bouncy, which if I remove would probably expose the block.

Apart from the render having been done poorly any suggestions on the root cause of the cracking and the remedy this? There are other sections on the wall where the paint is bubbling off, looks like wetness behind those sections too.

The last 2 images are when I lift the stone ( which I shouldn't be able too), looks like only a cavity tray above the insulation gap, no other DPM before the mortar bed and stone

Here is a video of the wall....

Video of behind parapet wall. Which shows a crack between the mortar bed and the wall and not much mortar between the coping stone joints

OP,
I would prefer to see single pics not a video of your problem wall & parapet. Pics of the whole wall, & the parapet capping stones from above, & the other side of the parapet would help.
From what you've so far shown it might be a case of hacking off the render back to brickwork, and rendering it again with a correct mix of 3 x sand and 1x NH lime.
It might be that the capping stones will need to come off the parapet, & be correctly re-set.
Is there any water damage or cracking inside the wall?

Here are still pictures of the wall and behind the parapet with the visible coping stones.
We also noticed this weekend the room that covers the crack area outside also has cracks forming and more concerning damp patch.
