Cruise Control Issues

It's tricky to get it to operate at it's minimum speed
can you engage it at 25 and then press the minus button repeatedly to bring it down to 20? On all my CC cars you can dial the set speed up and down to choose a new speed at any time that it is active

Yep, it allows you to devote less attention to your speed and concentrate more attention on what is happening on the road ahead.
All my CC cars also have a speed limiter system as an alternative to cruise control; you can set a max speed like you would with cruise and then you can't get the car to go above it, and you just drive normally with the accelerator like you would, except you struggle to drift over

The CC icon is a speedo with an arrow pointing to 10 o'clock. The limiter is perhaps a speedo with a band next to it

It lacks a minus button. It just has the master button, set/reset, and + buttons. To reduce the cruise speed, I press set/reset, then as speed drops, press the set/reset.

Never known CC to cancel using the accelerator. Our Honda has +/- buttons on the steering wheel so you can accelerate and decelerate by hand or using the pedal. But it cancels immediately with the other two pedals. Never had an issue with it.

I've never investigated it, whether it's a matter of time for the accelerator pressed, or how much faster than cruise speed, but it certainly cancels after a while of manual control.

Strangest was my Granada, which pneumatically controlled the actual pedal. You would see the pedal move up and down, as you went up and down hills, due to the varying engine load.

The Ford has a speed limiter also, however this can only be set in 5mp increments and it does not actually limit you, instead it just beeps at you and you can still easily go over the limit. total garbage

That reminds me, mine has a speed alarm. I've only used it once, just to confirm it works, but really it is pointless - you set it, and it triggers an alarm noise if you exceed the setting and a warning on screen.
