If I understand correctly - no.will he ring it back to the socket ?
It's just a cable - larger than necessary.Is this good practice .
Don't do it then.There would be a lot of wood boxing to remove to take it back to the board and there's potential for asbestos which I don't think he wants to touch.

Well, extending the radial which is already there.So just a radial from the single socket then on 4mm.
