Cutting Costs

Train operators have been under pressure from the Govt. to cut costs.

They are reported to be furious that the decision to scrap many ticket offices, agreed by the DoT, has been reversed.

But do you think the companies were going to pass those savings on to passengers, in the form of cheaper ticket prices?

Or were they going to boost the dividends to shareholders?
Ha Ha Haaaaaaaaaa.

I'm just waiting for all the green energy initiatives to kick in as apparently consumers 'might' see cheaper bills then as well ;)
