All living things will suffer at some point.

It is the fact that some living things are made to suffer for something as repulsive as another persons' pleasure that makes any act of cruelty so sick.

It is all about perspective.
 
that jungle show is a load of ****. if this is what tv calls entertainment these days, then thank god for the internet. what utter rubbish.

Anyway, that fish. AFAIK, the reason for the towel is so the chef dont burn his hands while dangling the fish in the frying pan. The video is on youtube if you want to see it.

IMO, lobster is a bit different. the whole thing is thrown in the pot and it dies quickly.

The fish is scaled, cut open and cooked while still alive.

With this fish, the chef is purposefully keeping the fish alive to afford it extra cruelty and suffering.

The people eating it know it is alive and suffering. Lobster is dead.
 
They do not put a value on an animals right to a painless death that is the difference, they think it is perfectly acceptable, hardly makes them barbarians.

I have already stated my argument, they do not place a value on animals suffering, it is a culture you do not understand and one that I do not profess to understand myself, that does not make me or them sick.
