Well how would you solve this?

"A foreign-owned super trawler, that controls almost a quarter of England's fishing quota, will take biggest share after Brexit.
The 390ft Dutch Frank Bonefaas controls 23 per cent of England's fishing quota, and is the largest trawler registered in the British fishing fleet."

"In August last year, the ship transferred its registration from the Netherlands to the UK, but still lands its entire catch into the Dutch port of IJmuiden."
Well if that be true then there must be a loophole that they use concerning unloading 55% of the catch in the UK and considering that the EU do not own the quotas then simply close the loophole. Job done.

Ok bodd , you can like it if you want.

All im saying is we are having a bit of a chit chat and loathed is a bit strong...

I'm sure you too would be doing man hugs if we had a Christmas party this year... xx

So are you saying that there should be no foreign ships/boats registered in the UK?

If they are .. ..then their catch would surely come back to a British Port.

Not necessarily, if a British boat is fishing in the Channel Isles area, and that includes boats from the CI then they often land their catch in France, pointless taking it back to UK to refrigerate and then truck over to France.
