They’re all sounding very bitter and twisted. Lally, Gally, Notchy and SillyJohnD are going round and round in circles. Their posts are getting more desperate as the 31st looms. I wonder if they will disappear up their own rsoles at 11pm on the 31st? Get Brexit Done.
Oh look Mottie is whining again

A bitter and twisted brexiteer.

Well there's a surprise.

Mottie is moaning again

Why can't he be happy that he "won?"

would any brexiteers on here please answer this:
"on that basis, the Single Market is sovereign to the EU"....

so why would the EU allow a foreign country access to its sovereign trade block without accepting the rules?

Do work for someone and when it comes to payment let them take as long as they like.
Does anyone know what the VAT situation is up until 31/12/2020?
If I send an invoice to UK from EU, (or vice-versa) for goods already supplied, do I charge VAT?
If I receive an invoice from UK do I deduct the VAT?

When the lorries start building up on the French side of the channel,
In the event of a No Deal, it could be far worse than that. UK hauliers will not be allowed to work in EU unless they agree to EU working directives.

when the holiday bookings in Europe fail to materialise,
UK tourism will be equally affected.

when the foreign fishing boats come back empty, when the French farmers start rioting.......
French farmers will act in support of French fishermen. Their anger will be directed at UK government, not at French government. Support for Macron will increase, and similarly decrease for Marine Le Pen.
Both French farmers and French fishermen are fully supportive of EU.

Thank fuk we leaving soon.Or the next step of leaving.Or we left already...Whatever dopy argument you remainers wish to twist about.

Hello everyone this is great in here, fresh cuppa tea and scones? No butter though it's err err out of stock :D

Are you sure?

I keep hearing them say they intend to follow WTO rules.

the only dopey arguments are those from brexiteers

DP says: "we want sovereignty"
-great -what will it gain you

DP says: "I cant answer that, we want freedom"
-great what freedom did you lose as part of the EU

DP says"I cant answer that, we want free trade"
-great, what free trade dont you have at the moment

DP says "I cant answer that"

after Jan all imports to UK from countries without a trade deal will be subject to UK global tariffs, that's the same tariff for every country including EU.
True, as it stands now. But UK government can choose to set any or all tariffs at a new level whenever they choose. That will of course apply across the board, irrespective of the country of origin.
But it could and probably would mean that goods originating from far away places may be cheaper than EU exports due to the low regulation regime practised in these far away places.

surely its the same as existing until 31st Dec

although currently there is no provision to reclaim VAT paid on any invoice from an import after 31 Mar 2021

next year.....good luck with it.....exporting to EU means you can zero rate the invoice but the importer will have to pay the import VAT and possibly duty.....however some dont want to act as the importer
