Max budget was around £150 though, but that maybe skimping a tad?
Probably the only one under £150 is the Henry - but they're dry only, aren't they?

By SITE I take it that the OP means suitable for use on a construction site - that requires 110 volt by law these days, hence my comments..........

I know that, I was just pointing out that a Henry is under £100 (including 110V models) and the Charles (a bigger, wet and dry Henry) is only just over.

And no, 110V is not required by law last I checked.

Hey, here we go, 110V Charles: http://www.toolstop.co.uk/index.php...d=1671&l=uk&utm_source=google&utm_medium=base

The guy is renovating his own house anyway so can use whatever voltage he likes. Get an Earlex.

Yes, but try working almost anywhere where "site rules" apply and 230 volt gets you an early bath, squire. Anything from HSE to insurers gets quoted, but the results are the same.

We also have a Henry (NVR200 - the 110 volt version) but it isn't a wet and dry and in any case really doesn't have either the capacity or vacuum power to attach to some power tools (e.g. mitre saws) - that makes it unsuitable as a site vacuum although they are very handy for general clean-ups
