Hi All, A bit of quick advice and confirmation that im on the right path so to speak.
My summer project is to deck a small portion of my garden, it will are 4.8m x 4.8, with approx half on soil and half on concrete, now the concrete part is lower than the soil, so I will be using longer support legs to keep it all level.
The plan is to use 6" x 2" joist frame with the joists 18" apart, and then support legs every 1.5m.
Now question is, I can bolt the legs to the concrete using brackets, but on the soil part, is it better to use slabs (which I have already) under the legs or would it be better to concrete in posts, I have fence posts already that im planning to use as supports.
Also are M8 coach bolts best to use to bolt it all together?
