I'm looking to for any users who have used the Delta 18-900L before. I'm thinking about getting it for my husband for Christmas.

I don't think we get that one over here, but it has a good specification for a DIY machine....nice big chuck and 3/4 hp will do nicely.

Ok John,
I'll have to check it out. This site makes it look easy but you know it's the video-it may not be what it's like in a real work station.

As above, really......3/4 hp is a good size motor, MT2 is a strong size for the chuck (that means Morse Taper size 2) and a Jacobs 3 chuck is quite a beast.
Go for it - just make sure Santa is an engineer
