You do have some influence. You have a vote, you have a voice, and it's never been so easy to express yourself on social media.
And of course you have the choice to not express your opinion.
I frequently don't express my opinion due to apathy or ambivalence.

my voice only has any noticeable influence where its one off a few where it can bear any weight like in local affairs and by that i mean friends and family and the local community around me where putting a name to the face means actual accountability comes with the territory to the actual individual rather than faceless pointless ranting elsewhere
