Competa's only about 4 miles or so away, you go through Sayalonga to get there. How can you not like the food?! You don't prefer the trappings of Torremolinos and all the English bars and English meals, surely????!

Nope I hate all that, Spanish food is dreary, greasy, and cooked without any finesse, and nothing like fabulous Italian food. I don't know where Torremolinos is. As I say each to their own, I simply don't like the Spanish experience that much.

I cannot think of anything worse than going to an English bar in Spain. But it's a free life, it's your choice.

spanish food is probly nice but they think we like **** cos thats what we ask for.

Maybe you're right, but I've tried going into the wilder parts of Spain, and more often than not been disappointed. Best things I've had have been Paella
and tapas (hardly ground breaking stuff), but that sort of seems to be it.

For a country blessed with the ability to grow pretty much anything, you'd have thought they could be a bit more imaginative.

Oh, and don't start me on chocolate sauces. It's wrong and you know it wrong.

Oh, yeah, and Diesel's gone up again.

In W14 in London there is a garage selling both petrol and diesel for 129.9p what a joke

Flaming Hell. ...........Gone up another 3p today, since original post. Is now £120.9.

I was driving around the south side of manchester yesterday, and was shocked. Its so much more expensive there. Dirt cheap in Donny.

Oil is predicted to reach $200 per barrel this year, it's already gone up 25% since Jan.

It is the head of OPEC that made the prediction. Guess he'll arrange it eh?
It won't effect a rich Honda driver like you though.

That's good then. Pity it's only a Honda.

There's nothing you can say about Honda's that Jeremy Clarckson hasn't said already but do your worst
