How did this questionable guy become a chief Brexit adviser. This just shows the whole leave campaign was one opportunist on top of another.

He's neither an economist or academic or expert in the areas he claims but Johnson and Gove venerated him. He's a windbag who just rode on the tails of the Brexit Bus.

If he applied to work for us all these issues would have been flagged, he would have been politely sent on his way.

How is it our leaders and MPs require less due diligence than an employer when it comes to getting important advice. It's madness.

"However, his views have been rubbishedby other experts and his credentials have been under scrutiny"

"Privately educated at St Paul’s School in London before studying at Balliol College in Oxford, Singham left university with a third class degree in chemistry."

Have you read his IEA paper on Brexit which had Rees Mogg foaming at the mouth. Shanker sells himself as an Intl Trade Lawyer who doesn't know even the basics of trade.

He's an opportunist who we willing to feed the Brexit fantasists with his shoddy work. His reports would fail the first year at Uni as they are so full of holes.

You want to defend him, fine then you have to defend his shoddy work which you will be hard pressed to do unless you suspend reality.

Youve decended into JohnD territory -creating a fallacious argument.

I didnt defend him.

You said he was a fraud, but that is not proven.

Spouting utter carp is not the same being a fraud. If that were the case, there is a lot of frauds on here :ROFLMAO:

No I'm not. He has sold himself as something he is clearly not as I pointed out.

I think your arguing for the sake like some on here even when the evidence is right in front of you.

Joe would have had em all up against the wall

He describes himself as the Director of the International Trade and Competition Unit (ITCU) of the Institute of Economic Affairs. A high falutin name for an anti-EU propaganda den.

In the absence of Economists and Trade experts to support the Brextremists, their campaigners used this charlatan to give their flannel a thin and unconvincing veneer of fake respectability.

He used to be one of Liam Fox's advisers, but was advised to resign.

He used to be at the Legatum pressure group, but...

The Daily Torygraph lapped up his nonsense and published it enthusiastically

I think a bit of care might be need to avoid publicly defaming someone. Particularly someone with the means to take action.
Where is the evidence this person is a fraudster? charlatan and brextremist are less defamatory, but liar and fraud are legal fightin' talk.

Someone who's opinions and beliefs are shown to be wrong is not a liar, someone who campaigns for something on dodgy footing is not a fraudster.
