I just getting a bit confused related to this so I just decided to install our new double light switch what leads upstairs and down stairs

Which if you see attached file this is what it was originally (white light switch)

And I followed everything on that and done it to the new one but only one light is working.

I have attached the other light switch setup

New setup is upside down on the second side.

Both Reds are in Com 1 and Com 2

And

Black in L11
Blue in L21

Also is the earth wire in the correct position

Thank you

You seem to have put a live in the earth....but I suspect that the yellow should be in L22

I am not an electrician,

looks rather dangerous ATM.

The yellow wire with brown sleeve, should be in the terminal on the other side (in the hole next to the blue)

It is NOT an earth wire it is Yellow sleeved Brown to indicate it is a live conductor.

Just copy the old switches allowing for one switch being upside down.

How many lights do the switches serve and how many are one way and two way?

The yellow needs moved to L22 next to the blue. You are lucky you haven't had a shock off the faceplate.
BUT. You then must connect an earth to the faceplate. Your old plastic one didn't need one. Are there green/yellow wires in the back of the box?

Yes agreed

Yes you are very lucky, it could have been very nasty

I don't see any hint of additional wiring (earth), if that is the case then the matal switch cannot be used for everyones saftey

Is there an earth wire? It may have been cut so check where the cable enters the backbox.

Cant see the cables entering, is it possible it is the earth wire?

Oh dear, wonder if still with us? I was bored last night, and on my phone it came up with a quiz for electricians, so I started doing it. Around half way through it and it gave options for earth wire (think it called it ground) colours, it had 4 options which included yellow and green, but not green/yellow.

Tried clicking both green and yellow together, but it would only allow one to select one.

It is so dangerous when something is published on the internet and it does not state the country, and is from a country which does no follow international standards origination standards.

Got a feeling this was a wind-up, but it would be so easy for some one to get wrong, when some countries do not follow international standards, it really trumps them all.

I’ve seen some videos on YouTube recently of ppl wiring sockets, probably in India or china.
Said video/country uses :

Yellow as earth
And Red and blue for the phase colours.
