Hi All
I need to put some cleaner and then inhibitor in my system with a flush in between, it's a closed combi setup but there is no lowest point for a drain down as it's all distributed up and down from the middle floor to the rads via 10mm hep20 so draining down isn't possible at least on the ground floor unless i take off all the rads individually and hose them out
Is it possible to do a careful mains flush by removing my magnaclean filter and using it's connections on the return pipe to run clean mains water into the boiler through the system and then back out to a drain, I believe this is a convenient way to connect a powerflush machine but i'm not looking to throw that sort of money at it as i'll likely be replacing the boiler next year.
BTW when I say mains flush it's really more of a rinse after a couple of weeks of cleaner running through the system and fresh inhibitor being introduced.
Edit for less faff
