I have the below drainage nightmare below my kitchen window:
The lefthand pipe is from the roof guttering, the top pipe from the kitchen sink and the pipe on the right is the waste from the washing machine. Whenever water starts flowing, instead of it flowing nicely down the drain, it leaks out of the opening where the guttering pipe enters on the left and soaks into the earth which is clearly not ideal. I feel like that entrance should possibly be sealed partially, or that the waste pipe should by adjusted so it is higher and pours in from the top. Can that brown plastic drain inlet be removed and replaced with something more fit for purpose? Does anyone have any details on the particular drain inlet (not sure on the offical name) I have installed? All looks a bit of a bodge job...thanks!
