Dust Cyclone

I've used a home made dust cyclone for some time now and it's proved useful. But it's time to upgrade and get a purpose built and dedicated unit to be connected to a Numatic George.

What's best from these three?

In acending price order

Triton
Dustcommander (no hoses supplied)
Dewalt dust extraction/wet

I'm no expert but I built my own cyclone some years ago. I also talked to a guy that designed industrial cyclones.Thats large moving to small ones all linked up.
The smaller the cyclone the better for smaller particles. The Dyson vac has many small cyclones linked and if you used one to make your own it would be better than anything you can buy.
If you're just using for general use then i would say cyclone 2 and 3 as the first one is more for bigger stuff like wood dust imo, although I have limited knowledge.

Thanks! The one I've built is ok, but I do think V1 has many flaws but has showed the principal is good.

My issue I think is the hopper is close to the base of the cyclone so the dust particles don't really have a space to rest in as such.

That said it only cost me £30-ish so for a first go I'm happy!

What vaccum do you pair yours with?
