They might swap him for another more likeable chancer. ;)

And that would be...who?
The charming Priti Patel??
Or the smooth talking Michael Gove?
Perhaps that erudite silver tongued Nadine Norris is on your mind?

Or do you have an eye for the pretty boy Jeremy Hunt ... tell me, Mottie, out of the motley crew in blue who would you drag into the hotseat of #10

Surely the brightest spark in the cabinet is Liz Truss, her grasp of facts is quite breathtaking

Or there’s Mark Francois, Andrew Bridgen, Jon Redwood……

The party people vote for in local elections is not necessarily indicative of the party they would vote for in a general election.

They often have different reasons for voting in each.

Oh I don't know - stick a pin in a list. Pick any one from 357.

I’m not sure what you are on about.

Wandsworth is a pretty good indication what people want
...in Wandsworth only! Not representative of the rest of the country though, is it? :p

Edit: Using the chart below, you could say that people want the Green Party.

Party politics should have nothing to do with local elections people should be voting for local people who they think will do a good job for their town

The Lib Dems seem to have done very well.
What usually happens probably more by disappointed Tory supporters. That can be bad news in a general election - remember the coalition. Those LD promises that gained votes and didn't happen. The Greens are nothing short of dangerous. They would probably find that going green as they intend is not as simple as they say but as usual with politics the talk often isn't the same as the walk when they get power.

I don't understand why but most people don't (or can't) differentiate between national and local voting in terms of what they are voting for. And the general media are even worse.
