I get to see it every time I walk in the kitchen It'll be there for a while as there's "a few other jobs" to get through (and find the money for) before the kitchen gets a facelift.
I slightly spoiled a freind a couple of years back. He'd been using the loo at work blissfully ignorant of the tiling. Then when I was helping him with his house renovations, being "a bit OCD" about things, he started noticing things he'd never seen before - like the tiles set up as "coat hangars" with corners sticking out, corners not square to make the tile match the beading, and stuff like that.
