I know, fancy allowing a psychologically unstable man in his sixties to adopt a young child. Elton John is likely to have died of old age whilst the boy is still a teenager, and there is little stability in a household where one of the parents is prone to temper tantrums and drama.

That's a very good point, I for one am sick of getting bummed every time I walk down a street where there is a gay man. It's exactly the same with women, any visit to a nightclub involves every woman in the place trying to have their way with me.
I apologise for the jibes. You have your views and you're entitled to them. I am glad to live in a society where it is fine for someone to be gay without getting their head kicked in, but at the same time we aren't forced to like the idea of being gay.
Homosexuality does not equal paedophilia. There have been plenty of heterosexual males abusing girls and women abusing boys.
I used to think that adoption by a gay couple was unfair on the child, but for just one reason: bullying at school. I know that I would have played truant every day if school had involved 7 hours of kids chanting "Donk's dads are gay!". Society at large just isn't ready for it yet, might never be.
But, if it keeps children away from heterosexual parents who smoke, do drugs, scrounge the dole, believe that 12 pints and a fight constitutes a good night out, give them names like "Chardonnay" and "Chantel"...

Being gay should exclude you from the right to adopt kids. I don't have a problem with gay people, each to their own but any kid with two same sex parents is going to get a load of grief at school.

Far from it, but has Elton just picked the 'prettiest one' for publicity purposes.
Still, he ain't going to be able to adopt, according to the Ukraine Government:

tell the behaviour specialists that, who all agree that it is a learned behaviour largely from being in contact with other "homo's"
