Ah, alcalate fuel....also known as Aspen fuel? I use this benzine free stuff in engines that I know will be idle for a long time.....stand by generators and so on as it doesn't deteriorate.
I've never considered it for your purpose though, but I do use the odd additive such as Forte if the emissions are borderline.
In the good old days, standing on the sample pipe had a similar effect
but not now.
