Need some help here. Planning to write a thank you letter to someone who helped me with a project. Really great help received from him, know him for a few years now. Could I end this letter to this business friend with "with love" or doesn't that sound right and would be considered OTT?
(would know how to tackle this in Dutch, but alas ...)

Thanks JohnD, but to me that does sound OTT I'm afraid. (Could be me). Is both business person and friend, so....

I would avoid saying "love" to people you don't kiss much.

That's what I thought, but still. Yours ever doesn't feel/sound right also. any more suggestions?
I always end my emails to him with: kindest.
Would that do? Although this time it's a little thank you card and I want to add something different.

"with all good wishes" is completely meaningless so can be used on any occasion.

I reckon "kind regards" is a bit distant for a thank-you card. I say "KRs" on my business emails

But I don't want it to be meaningless.

"big snogs"

Let me elaborate on this, might help (I hope, cause I'm utterly lost now  )
He has been one of the 'guinea pig' readers of by debut novel, but more importantly he has done me the honour of writing the foreword for it. And that fits in so absolutely perfectly with the story it's heartwarming (well, to me anyway). Plan is to send him a copy of the novel (when they finally arrive, Murhpy's Law has been at it!) with a little thank you card in it.

any more/better suggestions?

"With all good wishes and sincere thanks for your help,

yours ever,

WYL"

Ok, thank you very much. Will sleep on it though. Does sound/feel appropriate

Slept on it.
Think I will end the text in the card with: ever grateful
